Climate
Tokyo can be visited any time of the year although, the climate is considered to be temperate with four distinct seasons.

Spring (March to May) spring is the best time to visit Tokyo, due to the mild, pleasant weather although, there are the odd days when it can become slightly chilly in the mornings. Spring is also considered the best time to visit as the famous cherry trees can be seen in full bloom.

Summer (June to August) summer is hot and humid and can become unbearable with temperatures rising to38 °C in some places, heavy downpours are also not uncommon during this time of year. Even though summer is hot and humid with the occasional downpours there are many festivals and fire work displays that take place all around Japan that should not be missed.

Autumn (September to November) September is much cooler than the rest of the year and humidity levels are lower than the summer months. In general autumn is warm and pleasant but there is a risk of typhoons at this time of year.

Winter (December to February) winter in Tokyo is usually clear, crisp and pleasant with the occasional days of snow but during the night temperatures have been known to drop below freezing point.

"I Stayed at first hotel for 4 nights. Rooms are big and clean but some of the facilities are old. The Staffs were very helpful. For the price and location to the markets I recommend this hotel. It is also only 10 minutes walking to the sky train".

Ayutthaya Ayothaya Riverside Hotel
Ayutthaya Hotels

"The staff are very friendly and spoke good English but to far from the tourist site, which are across the river. Stayed there with my girlfriend and had a good room. Next trip we will stay closer to centre".
